The Chair of the Committee Anne -Marie CHAVANON was the guest of the National Union of Community Centers for Social Action at the 64th congress of the association in Paris. She presented the Council of Europe fundamental pillars, and joint work done by the Council of Europe and the European Commission on the European Charter of shared social responsibilities , based on five other texts and addressing everyone: individuals, public institutions, companies and civil society.
" Shared social responsibility is a means of ensuring social, environmental and intergenerational justice. It is therefore necessary in the development of a sustainable society , mobilize and empower territories and their inhabitants. Community and territorial motivation must be found for this and , like the images we created as a child connecting points to reveal a picture, sustainable social development involves linking all stakeholders " concluded Anne-Marie Chavanon
